Hello everyone, i have been searching now for a while relating to the subject of breast growth after surgery..

I have been wondering (well hoping really) that now that i have had my srs surgery im 7 months post op, will my breast growth improve because the source of testosterone has gone ? Or am i just hoping this. I understand that most transwomen only reach tanner stage 4 but im only at stage 2.. I know this is a strange topic but all i have ever wanted was a chest to match my bodys framework thats all.. And i really dont want to go down the stage of having implants if i can help it. But i am really self conscious regarding this, i can make myself look as best as i can face and dress wise but because im flat chested i still get asked questions regarding my gender, and im just getting so sick and tied of saying it is none of your business.. And i do honestly feel that if i do develope the chest i have always wanted these questions would stop and my confidence will improve. Because there will be no dought in people and i can finally stop having to defend myself every 5 seconds

Thank you for taking the time and trying to help me regarding this. Im just feeling very lost at the moment..

Lea

How long have you been on hormones? As everyone is different, genetics, age, etc... the general timeliness is 2 to 10 yrs for full maturity, with most growth in the first 3 years.  However, the general consensus is that you'll hit a growth spurt and grow a bit more afterwards. Hope it helps.
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

I've seen some women here saying they did see more growth post op and others saying they didn't. I think, like all things when it comes to HRT, your milage may vary depending on your genetics.

If there was a guaranteed way to make breasts grow larger it would be more popular than anything on the planet - there are many millions of genetic and trans women in the world with size AA, A and B cups after all. Unfortunately breasts have a mind of their own when it comes to their shape and size and no amount of stimulation or encouragement is likely to make any difference.

1, how well endowed are the women in your family?
2, how much extra fluff do you have? To my knowledge, breast growth requires some weight gain, and a steady diet full of essential fats and complex carbs to prevent you from burning too much of the fat you want to settle in the girls.
3, have you heard of the Brava system? I'm planning on getting essentially the Brazilian butt lift but putting the fat in my boobs because I want bigger breasts.
4, thyroid and hormone balance issues can make your body more or less sensitive to HRT, as well as change your insulin response and many other things.
Umm there's lots more stuff to look through, but getting a physical and full round of bloodwork over the period of a few months should give you a pretty clear picture how well your body is absorbing the HRT, and where your nutritional deficiencies and surpluses are. I was anemic for years before I realized it and only recently had a nurse practitioner verify that my iron levels were better now that I've been on supplements but not great (because I don't eat meat). I never thought to check my bloodwork, but it was visible on the same labs they use to monitor my liver and kidneys from the HRT, and she pointed it out to me because it had improved enough for it to stand out on my charts.

Getting SRS only removes one part of your endocrine system, although it lets you go off spiro and your salt/potassium balance may change. I've heard there can be feminizing, but breast growth typically happens in the first 4 years of hormones and around the 10 year mark, or so I've heard. I don't know if SRS modifies growth, but I'm guessing it's possible that it could help.

Katie your information has been great and i will try to answer your questions...
1. My mother and my sister have always had a different body shape to me im tall and quite slim and they are bigger women.. So it is hard for me to get an accurate answer there..
2. I wear size 14 tops because i do have a large framework
3. Yes i have and it looks amazing. And i have been looking into it, but unsure about the certainties of it..
4. I have my bloods checked once a month so i have records of where my body is stage by stage and my doctors have told me that everything is normal..

So i guess these are the reasons why i have been so curious regarding my previous question.. Just a case of uncertainty i guess...

Lea have a *hug*  hope your breasts grow big time...

well there are some people who say they have a lot of breast growth after srs...
other say they do not... but its possible they had quite some breast growth already...

You might try avocado oil for fat... a doc recommended it saying its a preferable mixture of oils and other ingredients...

soft factors could also make for testo levels... like not taking part in aggressive pastimes... etc...
a bit more laid back attitude might help, not getting upset so fast...

what might help after hrt with breast growth is massage, with a good oil (I personally would use organic plant oil...some use coconut oil for example), twice a day for a few minutes... it can help with blood flow and thus indirectly with receptor stimulation... I saw a vid of a trans women where it very obviously helped, she said so...

another thing might be noogleberry or similar products... just don't overdo it with suction... keep it all gentle...
they are at a fraction of the b system, and quite a few people said it helped...

A weak masculinizing effect is said to come from carbonated drinks, and carbs. So eating vegetables, in a healthy variety, might help.

Well... chin up, lets hope you have a growth spurt  :)
There are additional forms of testo like dht which might be strongly reduced now...
