Miss Dee and I attended the Atlanta TDoR at St. Marks Methodist on Peachtree Street.  It was a wonderful service including keynote speaker State Senator Vincent Fort who spoke about introducing a hate crimes bill in the upcoming session of the legislature and would insure transgender was included.  He stated he would not accept any compromise that would remove transgender protection.  My friend, therapist and former pastor Rev. Dr. Erin Swenson spoke saying we are all members of the same huge tribe.  A unique tribe in that it exists in every country in the world, a tribe that has existed on earth as long as humans have.  There were several other speakers with wide ranging topics.  The great thing is I got to see friends I've not seen in several years and that means a lot to me right now.
