"Transgender people simply want to live their lives. Right now, a critical bill is pending before Massachusetts state legislators that would end widespread discrimination against transgender people in public places.

Transgender people repeatedly face discrimination amidst daily activities like shopping, eating in restaurants, taking public transportation to work or school, seeking medical care, enjoying a vacation, seeing a movie, going to a sporting event or concert, or even just taking their laundry to the dry cleaner."
