Having Breast Augmentation: doubts about size

Wednesday

Hello ladies!

I'm having Breast Augmentation soon and I have some doubts about the size and so. First I'm giving you my current measurements:

Height: 5'7'' (almost)
Weight: 125 lbs
Shoulders: 14''
Bust: 36'' (small B cup)
Underbust: 31''
Waist: 25''
Hips: 36''

The doctor recommended me 400cc high profile silicone implants placed under the muscle. Since under the muscle placement is safer and prevents breast sagging I think is a very good idea. Also he said I'm little framed so high profile implants would fit me (nothing to discuss here though I think I'm not so little framed).

But the big doubt comes with size. He told me 400cc would give a modest and elegant result, and that I shouldn't go much bigger than that (he said I'd look like a whore with 600/700 cc implants lol). But I want that perky/flashy look that give big sizes, so I asked him for at least 500cc, and now I'm wondering if I should go for 600 or even 700cc. The only thing that bothers me about those sizes is that I may end up looking a little chubby with them (while I'm more or less skinny, and trying to lose more weight).

What do you girls think? Any other girl built like me (or similar) with 500cc or more?

Thank you in advance!

I would think about seeing if your surgeon uses the implants that are adjustable.  By that I mean you can, at a later date, add more to the size if you are not happy with the initial results.  That is what I have.....and yes I did get mine increased after about a year and am very happy with the result.  You really have no idea as to how you will look or how your clothes will fit until you have the initial surgery.  If you go with the smaller size to start with you can judge from actually seeing how they look before increasing your bust size.  Again, this will only work if your surgeon uses the implant that lets him easily increase your size with a very small incision after your initial surgery.  You also need to remember that your size after the implant will include what breast development you have had prior to surgery.  Furthermore,  after surgery you will likely continue to develop somewhat with your estrogen intake.  Good luck with your surgery.  I know you will look fantastic and feel like a million!!!

Sounds like you're looking for the DD territory. I'll send a link that may help with your decision. Don't they have a set that you can try on for size before you buy? I'd start smaller and go larger if needed. It'd be a shame to have them stretched and be larger than you wanted and try to get smaller.

Thank you for your input!

Sadly those type of implants (saline filled) are not used here :(

Thank you, I'm having a look at it. Definitely I'm looking for DD territory :D

I have 500cc silicone implants, which fits my 6ft frame well, making me a 38D.  500cc on your frame would probably look good, but any more than that could be too much.

Thank you! I'm settled for now at 500cc with the doctor but tomorrow I'll see him again.

Something to keep in mind that I have heard from multiple surgeons is that girls always wish they went larger when they had "doubts about size" ©

My own surgeon has said that even girls who swore up and down that they were sure that they knew that all they wanted was a sexy but modest look usually came back post-op and had regrets about not going bigger.

So basically I think you're making the right choice by going 100cc more than what you initially were okay with :eusa_clap:

It's easier to make them look bigger than smaller (trust me lol)

I was a DD and many bras were styled to make even those look much bigger - i had a lot of trouble finding bras that weren't padded...

You could consider going for the middle (like your 500cc) + using pushup bras or pads so that you have the choice of larger breasts when you're going dressing up, and smaller ones when you're trying to go for a run or sleeping or whatever...

This won't help you out when you're not wearing a bra at all though, it depends on what you want from your breasts i guess. Sorry if I'm intruding :P

I am going thru this process and have read some of the replies. I am :

Height : 5ft 7ins
Weight: 133lbs
Shoulders 14.5ins
Bust 38 ins (A Cup)
Underbust 34ins
Waist 29 ins
Hips 37 ins

The surgeon suggested 360 cc with a teardrop shape but I think it may be too big for my active lifestyle and have tentativly chosen 270cc for a solid B+. I'm undecided and this thread is helping me make a decision also. I hear that large implants cause back, neck and shoulder pains. I'm not keen on 500cc just seems so big ???

Have you tried the rice test? It seems quite popular for checking size.

Thank you very much for the input people!

Today I finally settled for 600cc with the doctor (yup, I wanna make sure they are big and flashy lol). In a couple of weeks I'll see the result (not the final one).

I'm basically 6'2".  I was a 40D to DD before implants.  I had 700s and went to a 42F.  Just a little to large.  For your frame, 500 seemed reasonable, 600 a little large.  Also, the surgeon will need to adjust for symmetry.  How about 550-600 and let the doc adjust accordingly?

Good luck!

To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

I went for 600cc and i couldnt imagine going any lower then that . theyre big and flasy for sure... and like everyone else said... i also buy some serious padded bras and still use contouring and the silicone inserts ( cutlets)  to make them huge some days haha. And when the time come to have them redone as we all need to .... im still going to go bigger.... im thinking 800 cc then i can forget using all the extras to make them biggger.
