Binding problems...suggestions?

I am either a C or D cup, I can't remember, and needless to say, I am having trouble binding as much as I'd like. I have tried a sports bra, then a sports bra with tape, then the tights/pantyhose homemade binder, which didn't work either. I tried that with tape, only to find it still didn't work. It only broke the binder. I tried underarmour, which didn't work. It barely bound at all. So now I am using athletic knee joint bandages (basically like ace bandages) and while this is working to a degree, it doesn't work as well as I'd like....it binds mostly, but often falls down. Something I definitely don't want happening. This happens no matter how much I pin it it seems. The other thing is that I have heard this method is not recomended. Therefore, this method is only temporary.

So I am looking into what I can try next. I am guessing I'd have to go for a real binder, but where should I get a good one for my breast size. Even with this knowledge, it's difficult to know how well my mother will take to this.

What should I do?

Underworks is your friend, in this case. If you don't have a way to pay for something online, see if you can find a friend who's willing. It's completely worth it. I highly recommend the tri-top. They have sizing information on their website.

What you might do for now (and what I did while I wasn't out to my parents- all through high school/junior high-) is just wear the smallest sports bra you can manage and wear really baggy shirts. Nothing clingy. I know it's awful to suggest bad posture, but if you walk slightly slumped it makes your shirt fall in such a way that your chest isn't noticeable. I did this even with a binder for years and it didn't really hurt anything  (though I did look shorter), as my posture has improved significantly now that I've had top surgery.
