"NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) –– Police are looking for a man who nearly killed a transgender person in a beating in Queens.
Around 4 a.m. this morning the attacker followed 35-year-old Ricardo Sal to the front of Sal's apartment on 93rd Street in Jackson Heights, police said.
Sal, who goes by the name Kathy, was dressed as a woman, according to police."
