Deborah, how long into HRT did you see significant changes to your body hair?
I hope that HRT is doing the same for me.
I think it was after several months that I noticed my body hair been thinning and slowing its growth some.  But it was right around the 12 month mark that I noticed that growth had virtually stopped.  I last shaved my underarms either in Dec or maybe early Jan and the hair there is still invisible (and I looked really hard this morning).  The rest of my body is pretty much the same.  Unfortunately, it has not had that effect on my face although growth there is slowed a little.  :'(

Thanks Deborah, so there is hope that the wool is going away. *fingers crossed*
Next Monday, I will have my next laser session to get rid of the few remaining dark facial hairs.
Unfortunately we are all in the same boot regarding that.  :(

Lots of estrogen & time, lots of E & no bad T stuff in your body. For me electrolysis for nasty facial hairs was the only way. I had some laser work done in my 20's that helped but you need to kill every folicle. None of becomming an attractive confident woman is cheap for us that were born with the wrong physical gender parts causing out bodies such things as too much hair in the wrong places.....& not enough in othes, ugggggg.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

Hello Futuris,
I have grey hair on my face, arms and upper part of my chest.  I still have to shave my face and chest.

I must have been meant to be a girl. My body is naturally smooth. Blonde little hairs on lower legs are soft. Could only grow a goatee and facial hair soft too. A close shave every few days all i need. Must have low testosterone by nature. So glad I love being a Gurl! Saves a bundle too.

Lucky you girl friend. OMG after 2 years plus of hrt my body hair is finally going away but facial hairs are so damn stubborn, still killing them. Have fun for the rest of us.

I did electrolysis on my face for three plus years. This was by far the most expensive part of my transition (if you don't count the loss of pay because of the gender gap) I wish laser would have been available back then! My body hair pretty much went away within a couple years after my surgery. It is very seldom that I shave my legs. All of my chest hair went away.

I had a thick dark beard and a five o'clock shadow showed up within a couple hours after shaving.

For some of us there are no cheap options.
