Any suggestions?

Here is a few I do that I wonder if other people do

1) Kind of a weird one perhaps: Sit while peeing. Only recently started doing this, but it is kind of a small thing that seems to make quite a big difference for some reason.

2) Obvious one I guess: Wearing womens undergarments, such as panties, leggings etc

3) I have ''done'' my eyebrows as best I can, it has made the world of difference

4) Just being more hygienic , I know that sounds stereotyping but I found now that I have embraced myself now and freely being female, I have picked up on my hygiene alot more and using nice smelling fragrances helps.

There are probably more, does anyone else have any suggestions to help me during this LONG wait for hormone treatment?

Shaving your body if you don't, that is one you didn't mention that I do.  Otherwise I do the same things you've mentioned.

And more androgynous clothing if you can.

-voice training
-accesoires for women like watches etc
-having something on you that remind you of femininity... a heartshaped keychain etc... (you don't have to show... alone knowing its in your pocket might help)
-painting nails ( clear paint for fingernails and maybe colours for toenails... I'd use organic stuff because of smell :) )

What kind of clothing would you suggest to be androgynous?

Wear women's shoes.  Even just wearing women's sneakers helped me before I was out.

Getting your ears pieced is another good one.  It is one of those things that people didn't noticed when I did.

Great question! and great first steps

Practice a more feminine walk, sit and general body language. Work on your feminine voice. There are many resources on YouTube and elsewhere on line for this.

Androgynous clothing includes things like skinny jeans, shirts in feminine colors, some leather jackets, unisex or women's shoes like oxfords and flat heeled ankle boots.

Start with a little makeup. Putting on a bit of subtle eyeliner is a great ritual but not that many people will notice. Same with items like clear mascara and lip gloss.

Watch more traditionally female targeted entertainment.

Have fun! Hugs

I carry bag because I'm diabetic and I've been putting small things I'm it that make me feel feminine.  I carry a compact face face powder for under my eyes. I have really dark circles under my eyes.  And I have lip balm that's I'm a lipstick container. I have a cute Gothic alice in wonderland compact mirror and hair brush.
