Im contemplating going blonde, Ive done it once before...15 years ago when I had a bit more hair >:(

Im a medium brown now and am hoping that blonde will disguise some of the hair loss, at least for my eyes and what I see in the mirror and pictures

I bought Revlon Luxurious Colorsilk Buttercream in 73N a couple days ago, I liked that it was ammonia free.

I got my hair trimmed the other day and the girl said it was dry and somewhat damaged, I think its in good shape, maybe she wanted to sell me products, which she did try

I dont know if the lighter shade will help me disguise or make it worse, and Im also wondering about damaging or losing some of what I have

You might try getting an extra box and double up on the conditioners that the throw in. That stuff is awesome! I still don't know why you can't find it on a shelf anywhere... Without seeing for myself, I couldn't form an opinion on lighter hair color making a difference. But it could help. Or perhaps heavy highlighting to distract your eye. Again, just a shot in the dark.

This brand comes with 2 conditioners in the box, that was a Yay!

I actually have about 20 of the conditioner tubes, I LOVE the stuff... found them at garage sales. I bought 20 at once for 2 dollars. Yes its the bomb

Ill probably do it this morning, whats the worst that could happen..... :-\  I wear a bandana anyway

I always fear fer mi hair too. First off, stop shampooing every dae. Next is once in a while or two cake yer head with vegetable shortening (Crisco) an marinade in that. Mi hair dry's out like fierce an I colour mi hair too. Na big thing as keeps hair an skin fresh an moist is fat. ye could even use lard, but you wont find love from anything but a dog.

ooh stop with bandanna's an hats, M figurin they can cause baldness.
Mi hairline is receeding but not so bad. Pleanty o bald cis women out there too. Chin up love an keep seeking soloutions. Ooh, when I werked na cosmetics dept at Bloomingdales they had vibrating hair brushes... Try one mabi? idk, good luck love. :)

Thanks babe ;D

I do marinate in coconut oil every couple days, but Ive been using styling products for the last month and they are the culprit I think... they all have alcohol in them ???

I really cant stop the bandanas, its been my look for the last 18 years, I just switched to pastel colors ;)

My balding is hereditary (grandparents and both parents have it, so Im fuct) and honestly Im not interested in expensive solutions to combat it. Most seem to be snake oil anyway. Eventually Ill break down and get a nice wig, but thats after I cant look at myself anymore. For now my sidepart "bangs" (ok, combover... :o) keep me somewhat happy and hide the bad from me, but for being in public, its a bandana

Ha ha... is that a good thing or a bad thing...  ::)

Garage sales huh... I will have to look into that! I never would have imagined anyone not using all the conditioner, especially if they even knew 1 girl, those would have disappeared! I know women that have taken them out of my new boxes of dye... and they were only in my house for 10 minutes!

I love bandannas! I use them as hair ties for a more 60s look. Also great for keeping hair out of my mouth and or lipstick!   :D

Good luck with the coloring!

Hi Ladies
My hair was white as white can be and I lucky enough to have a sister that is a great hair dresser. She dyed my hair Blonde and I love it because when my roots come in it is harder to see them as they don't show as much as if you had darker hair.

Hugs

I'm glad it turned out well. I'm at the salon right now, waiting to have a cut and a full weave of highlights.

Perm your hair that will mask it as well. Get some spray that matches your hair colour to colour the scalp.

Idea.. Tattoo your scalp like natural hair dots to also mask it.

Tease your hair back with a comb.

Lace wig it with a taupee for seamless crown coverage.
