The difference from us being that they don't replace testosterone with estrogen. Don't women have a lower incidence of Alzheimer's?

I agree. Every time I have an unusual ache or pain I wonder if it's dangerous and from HRT. The next, affirming, thought is that even if it kills me in a week nothing will stop this for the rest of my life. A week transitioning versus 50 more years not? The second isn't life, it's the less desirable Christian afterlife that I don't believe in!

  My dad had Alzheimer's. The doctor contributed that with his alcoholism. The HRT is keeping my PSA levels down as that was over the top before getting on HRT. Mine nor two of my sisters' DNA tests show no known markers for Alzheimer's either. So far, so good.
