DHEA?

DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is (as far as I know) an over the counter supplement that converts itself into estrogen (in 'men') and testosterone ('in women'). Please remove this post if my information is out dated and the drug has since been made illegal.

Out of pure curiosity (not that I am sure it'd be effective in the way I'd like on myself) has anyone had experience using DHEA regarding masculinization? I've heard of a few men irl who used it pre testosterone and saw results such as deepening of the voice and increase in facial / body hair.

Thanks all for the input :)

Not sure if it works that way. It can be used in trans women and natal women as a sexual desire implement. I've tried it intervaginally as a daily suppository and didn't really experience more sexual desire but did experience more lubrication.

That being said, I don't think women (esp trans women) would be taking it if it caused testosterone-like effects ;)

Then again I was told that taking both T or DHEA intervaginally should not affect actual hormone levels so maybe if DHEA Is taken orally or some other way, it could? not sure.

Apologies, should've specified that I meant it being taken orally :)
