In this society, do you think its safe to be androgynous or is that asking for insults? Obvious liberal areas are better.

Im thinking of doing this to avoid surgeries and my family visits thinking Im a woman.

Im thinking skinny bodyweight, delicate but mute clothing (black skinny pants and longer shirts), long hair in a androg way. Low dosage of hormones to get it out my system (very crucial). Light make up, very natural.

And then take all that off for family visits. Which will happen 3 to 6 months in durations.

Actually I think this would be enough for a long while for me. As long as I look feminine/pretty.... im okay. I dont need to be publically accepted. I love myself.

Yes, it can work anywhere, even in the dark age areas of America.  A lot depends on how you carry yourself I think.  Act confident and self assured and people are more likely to leave you alone.

Love is not obedience, conformity, or submission. It is a counterfeit love that is contingent upon authority, punishment, or reward. True love is respect and admiration, compassion and kindness, freely given by a healthy, unafraid human being....  - Dan Barker
