OK guys I know that this topic has been generally addressed by other posts but because of my lack of computer skills I can't seem to find these and so I thought it necessary to start another post. Sorry.
Anyway, I am an Aussie who hopes to be starting her journey to find her true self in mid Feb and I have saved some money for this, while I am also in the process of saving more. I realise that finding one's true self is a hell of a lot more important than mere dollars and cents but I also realise that changing the physical aspects of the body that I was mistakenly given at birth will also require this rotten source of greed.
Additionally I realise that we are all different and the effects of HRT will, and do, change from person to person. However I am only seeking general wisdom among my fellow girls/women here while I also know that perhaps my endocrinologist and his (he is a bloke, I am not being sexist) accompanying gp would also be best to consult with on these matters where I am particularly concerned but the massive variance of human physiology is best covered by communicating with you guys!
Anyway I am a physically fit non-smoker who undergoes regular exercise and who hasn't taken any drugs for several years. I also drink only very occasionally too.
My main question is this: can I expect reasonable muscle mass shrinkage and fat movement (especially in my face) at the age of 46? The reason I ask this is because of my huge need to start living as a woman which I believe requires at least the semblance of femininity.
ANY advice would, of course, be hugely appreciated!
I await your wisdom,
Rudie.
