Thankfully it's right before Christmas, so hopefully he just assumed it was just a strange gift for someone... But I had ordered some breast forms from some Chinese company on Amazon. Apparently they came today and the kid from the front desk at work just brought them to me. It says right on the outside of the package BRA PADS. 0_0 holy ->-bleeped-<- so embarrassing. He didn't say anything about it and said "here ya go brotha" when he handed it to me. But when I read the package I felt me face get beet red. What was I thinking having them come to work? To some degree I don't really care, I just hope he doesn't start talking about it if he did read it cause he has kind of a big mouth and lives with like 5 other people. But screw it I guess! What's done is done.

It never happened to me but I was fearful it would when I first started building my wardrobe. If you fear it happening again, you could ship to a PO box. I suspect some of the problem may be shipping requirements due to terrorism if you aren't a secure shipper because it was never a problem before.

Maybe any issues you have have about coming out at work have been resolved by a big mouth kid.

Very true! If the rumors start rolling in or people starting acting weird towards me I'll know. I'm sure it has to do with terrorism stuff since it came internationally. I should have just had it shipped to my apt but I get most things shipped to work and just wasn't thinking. Oh well... At least I have my breast forms now [emoji5]

I remember when I ordered my 34B breastforms. I had totally forgotten about them, when I got a note in my mailbox that I had a package to sign for at the Post Office. I signed for the box & when I saw MEDEFORMS & their address, I almost dropped them! I was so nervous driving home. I wanted to so bad to just pull over & stuff them  in my shirt (didn't) I got home, locked the door & drew the shades. I stripped, put  on my bra & put the forms in the cups. My shadow casting on the wall gave me a bit of a shock. I did throw a feminine shadow. Looking back, it was kind of funny & silly. I haven't used them since the HRT has given me some good curves. Throw them away? Donate? Ebay? not sure.

My first online purchase of clothes was from a local Target store and I elected to collect from them rather than pay extra for postage. When I rolled up I was still presenting as male so I told them I was "Grace's husband". The woman said it was very nice of me to be collecting stuff for my wife (I guess it was something guys didn't do much of!)...

As for your delivery... "breast pads" could mean anything, and if someone says something just say that it was a "kinky present for your girlfriend" and wink. :) Maybe order from within the country next time, those deliveries won't have to specify contents on the box.

He probably won't think twice about it - how many people out there know what bra pads are who don't use them?

Oh, the tales we can tell . . . each of us has at least a few.  My top two are:

  • Fell asleep flying from BOS to LAX.  While sleeping the stewardess woke me and pointed to the isle, where my hair piece was lying.  OH YEA!!!!  You've no idea how small a 747 is until you ride for another 4 hours after an event like that, but several us eventually got the giggles and drunk on the way home.
  • I was stealth at work and on a Sunday at Nordies an executive colleague of mine saw me in feme.  Holly Shi_ski!!!!  That accelerated my "out at work" timeline by 8 months.  (groan)

This happened to me too! I've noticed that a lot of stuff coming from Amazon internationally, especially Asia, will list the contents on the box. I beat my mother by a half second grabbing the box from the UPS guy, not even worried about it, sure it would say nothing on the label like EVERY other box that comes from Amazon, only to see the words "makeup set" staring at me. So close!

I opened a PO Box after that. I've noticed the employees there giving me a look ever since I picked up my "women's bob wig" package, but I pay them no mind.

When I was 17 I ordered a pair of shoes from a shop in London. I realised they were addressed to Mr J Brown (same as my Dad). 10 days of be first to the post followed!

So nice to hear everyone's experiences and reassurance! Ya'll rock! These things kinda suck though. They're more just like pads for bras with the pocket which I didn't realize. Still make my breasts feel more full when I put them in but I think I need the real deal!

Yeah before I came out it was always scary to order stuff online and hope the mailman or anyone else wouldn't see or know what was inside ;)

Early on, my masculine and feminine presentation were vastly different.  Male mode was the same outfit I wore in middle school in the time of grunge, goths and gangsta rap: baggy, black, and baggy.  My facial hair was scraggly on the cheeks and an unkempt goatee... I never shaved even a little, until it was slowly killing me.  Female mode was bright colors, flowy skirts... in retrospect, trying really hard to appear feminine by merely picking the most feminine stuff I felt comfortable wearing.

I walked two blocks, from my support group to my car, dressed femme.  Saw the cutest scene: this huge, tall guy, holding a little girl's hand, them both skipping and smiling.  I'm grinning at the sight, and he looks at me.  I realize that we know each other. He does a double-take as we passed.  I turned my eyes, hoping that my pink shades obscured them, but I didn't nudge my head an inch.  I finally placed where I knew him from: a martial arts studio I went to for a while.  I felt like I was part of the family at one time... but they had this awful negative vibe and talked smack about everything, which got racist and transphobic on occasion.  Rats.  Guess I'm really not going back there again.

Hey Rp1713. Interesting story. Glad you were able to get them hassle free. I should get a pair myself sometime too. As for the label on the package, it's likely he didn't notice. I do shipping right now, some of the stuff posted on the labels you wouldn't even notice unless you were specifically looking for something. He likely saw just your name and delivered it. Though if he did see the company name or label, it probably didn't click in his mind. Might see "Bra Pads" and think to himself " hmmm bra? weird wonder what they need that for? who knows." after the delivery it probably slipped his mind, so you'd be in the clear anyways. Unless you're getting multiple packages a day, than people might get suspicious.

Also not really knowing how big a company you for could depend on whether people would need to know about it. For one to have stuff sent to your work is strange to me, unless you work with a small company that doesn't care if you have personal packages sent to them. Idk your home life, but obviously you don't want anyone to see what you got in, and or you might live with someone who is nosey about packages. Than it's make more sense to me, I guess.

One final thought about packages, there's often a message you can send the company you're ordering from about with special instructions to remove company names or to see if they ship it under a different name. I use a few sites already that can do this option, which is nice for me, as my mom tends to snoop out mail and packages.

hope the breast pads make you look even more beautiful.

Nothing to do with terrorism.

International packages (to the US?  to anywhere?)  have to have the contents listed on the outside.  That's so the Customs agents can figure out how much duty to charge.  Evidently, the amount was zero, or you'd have had to go somewhere to pay.  It's been like this at least since 1978 (the first time I shipped a package to Europe), maybe ever since there was international parcel post.

I think if you look carefully, you'll see that that description is actually on a customs form that's glued or taped to the box.

Yes. That's true.

Recently I received several packages from AliExpress.com. Most of them were delivered from China, with the list of contents written in English. I do not care whether postmen can read English or not. At least, they can pronounce my name written in English.

BTW, the delivery cost is absurdly cheap. I paid less than US$ 1 for each item, and it was delivered through registered air mail. Of course, it was free shipping with tracking order service. The postman got my signature, and an e-mail was automatically sent to me, asking me to confirm the delivery.

I still wonder how this can be feasible, I mean the cost for handling, shipping, delivery, tracking order and getting my signature, not to mention the price of the item.
