my anger is a serious issue, I am often self destructive when angry. Though for the last few months I managed to avoided any self harm....untill a few days ago...trying to recover from that.

Lately it seems like I am either horny, angry, or crying constantly. Sometimes more than one at a time. If I didn't know better I would assume I am PMSing. :-P

I am going to try some more meditation tonight and extra sleep. I have several very negitive recordings I made to play for my therapist and I am thinking of deleting them, dwelling on my problems is not likely to do much good and will put me into a bad mood again.

sorry for sorta hijacking this but I just wanted to say, Your not alone. And Try to never be upset with yourself for getting angry, everyone gets angry its just one way we react to stress.

::hugs:: wish I could help more

What is a Lie when it's at home? Anyone?
Is it the depressed little voice inside? Whispering in my ear? Telling me to give up?
Well I'm not giving up. Not for that part of me that hates myself. That part wants me to wither and die. not for you. Never for you.  --Loki: Agent of Asgard

here especially on page two are quite a few things to do:

http://www.nshn.co.uk/downloads/Distractions.pdf

You might:
-try not to concentrate on it, seeing it lightly if possible
-talk to people... there is also a chat on susans...
-do somethng you like
-do something soothing, like having a cup of tea
-not dwelling on anger, thinking about something else
-maybe keeping a notepad and working on solutions so in the long term situations bringing up anger are solved...
so you have a feeling it will get better eventually. Simply keep on trying... try something different if it does not work out immediately...
-knowing if you keep on it will get better...
-its a step by step process. Just take the next step, the next day, etc... it will get better eventually.

-there are helplines, please each out in case.
For example www.translifeline.com .
