Klondike solitaire, according to Hoyle, since 1965. With the real cards and on the computer. No, I am not done with that yet!

Oh I love Grim Fandango Byanyothername. I've met Tim Scahfer a couple of times, really nice guy.

I actually meant the GameCube one TechGirl. Its so good, but every time I play it, I start from the beginning and never end up finishing it :)

So many unfinished...

Atari era, and I had several hundred games that were given to me by relatives who were in the games industry at that time... ripped and compressed by someone else, so they came without instructions or boxes or anything. Some were pretty much impossible to figure out what to do in them.

Games like Mercenary: Return to Targ... what the hell was I meant to be doing in that game?? Who knows. Or Eco... I think I did it right by evolving into a human, but was that it?? Did I complete it? There was no completion screen...

I first played DOTT when I was like 5! I didn't even speak English at the time, but I loved the art style and everything... A couple years ago I actually managed to get the game again and finished it =)

Wow if we are going Atari era, nearly all of them. But Raiders of the Lost Ark bothers me the most, I was so close.
Really impressive Mermaid, well done :) I completed Dino Crisis PSX in Japanese, Didn't understand a word of it, but really enjoyed it.

CalmRage

most of them. i have a huge backlog.

here's a small selection with reasons included:

Escape From Monkey Island (worst game of the series, no interest)
Super Mario Bros 3 (that damned pipe world)
Super Mario World (couldn't beat Bowser then)
Super Mario 64 (no idea why, guess i got sidetracked)
Super Mario Sunshine (currently at it again, i ragequit then)
Zelda A Link To The Past (got stuck after the first dark world dungeon i think)
Zelda Ocarina Of Time (on Virtual Console; i only play the 3DS version now and that i've yet to finish too, but i'm very far)
Zelda Twilight Princess (doesn't grab me like the above installments)
GTA San Andreas (the constant gangsta slang got on my nerves along with that stupid army base mission)
any of the Call Of Duty games (but have lost interest in them since anyway)
Morrowind (why??? i always get sucked-in and at some point sidetracked)
Indiana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis (can't remember why, i was already in Atlantis, hey, i think a reinstall is in order NOW)
Knights Of The Old Republic II (i screwed up my character by making some poor leveling choices and by the time i got to the final planet, he was just too weak and i decided to let it be)

Never have I ever finished Perfect Dark for nintendo 64

Tamika Olivia

It would probably be faster to list the games I have completed. Not much, mind, but I have a huge library of half eaten gaming experiences.

Oh snap Moomin you never finished Twilight Princess? You definitely should; the end game is pretty fantastic.

For me, I've never beaten a Final Fantasy game except for 10. Each time I try I get all the way to the finale just before the boss and just watch the ending on YouTube because I'm horribly under-leveled  :P

There's actually not a whole lot else. Most of the games I've left unfinished are in recent years where I've had far less time to devote to video games.

Hey Moomin.

Don't feel too bummed out. I've never finished way more games than that, including the ones you mentioned. Well, except Twilight Princess. ;D

I was playing Final Fantasy 8 like last year and always stop once I reach a certain point. Its like I constantly lose motivation to press forward in that game even to this day.

Which Battletoads did you not ever finish? I hate that series with a passion due to the insensitive difficulty level. The only one I beat without ever laying a finger on the save state option in emulation and on the actual Super Nintendo was Battletoads and Double Dragon. That is the only one I really enjoyed, especially since it was the only reasonable game out of the entire Battletoads series.

I never beat Mutant Apocalypse either. But my brother has, time and time again as a teenager. I'm 27 now and I still probably cannot beat that game.

My brother still gets upset with it though because he never could beat Magneto with Wolverine, his favorite (and mine, along with Beast) mutant. Yet he could with nearly any other mutant. But heck, at least he had enough skill to beat it at all, unlike me. That game was so cruel. Remember the Omega Red and Juggernaut training simulation? That's was nuts. And their background theme music was so fitting and awesome that I listen to it to this day on youtube sometimes.

Hiya King Phoenix  :)

Thank you for the share, I feel much better  ;D

I think my last attempt at Final Fantasy 8 was about 6 months ago, like you I get to the same point and lose the motivation to finish it. Gosh dam you Draw system!

It was Battletoads in Battlemaniacs on the Super Nintendo. It was sooooo mean. There is this level on jet bikes and you have to jump over hurdles, at ludicrous speeds. It was a fab game until that point though. I liked Battletoads and Double Dragon a lot too. I did finish that one though

I feel your brothers pain, Wolverine was really hard to use in that game. I had to spam the save state to get to Magneto with Gambit (my fave) to be honest. Let us never speak of the Omega Red and Juggernaut training simulation ever again  :D I still bring it up in therapy today. My therapist will say "I don't really understand what that has to do with your gender dysphoria Moomin?" and I'm like "Dude!" you just don't understand me at all. *Pouty face* Yes the music was Amaze, I used to like jamming along on my bass. One of my lil gamer claims to fame, I worked on a project with the main guy responsible for the Halo 1 sound track. Gosh the snes had some amazing game music, I still get F-Zero tracks stuck in my head.

Lovely chatting with you! X

Vampire Masquerade: Bloodlines

Damn thing corrupted before I finished it

WildPollyAppeared

Matt, which was that one the FPS or the RGP? Cause I beat the Vampire the Masquerade RPG, although I had to enable a few cheats to get past one mission. I should go back an try to actually beat it.
