Hi everyone! You can call me M, and I've recently realized that I am FTM! I'm pre-everything currently, but I'm basically certain that I want hrt, top surgery, and bottom surgery...so pretty much everything, haha. I found Susan's Place a few years ago when I was first exploring transgender things, and I found it again while researching bottom surgery, so I decided to join!
I first realized that I was dysphoric at age 12, but didn't have the words for it. I proceeded knowing something was off until I was 14, when I finally found the trans community. At first I thought I was somewhere under the nonbinary umbrella, which is what I originally came out as, but as I've spent the last 2 1/2 years fighting with myself over identity, well...I've finally realized that I'm a boy. And just because I like some feminine things, doesn't make me any less of a boy either. I say, if a cis man can like it, want it, do it, then I should be able to too!
Anyway, my family is accepting, my insurance covers some aspects of transition, and I'm hoping to be able to start hrt by mid-June, around my 17th birthday.
