Question for those that inject

I guessing it's all right, but I was wondering. I injected my self this morning and the needle and injection site were good , but when I pulled the needle out and was cleaning up and turned away the injection site started to bleed , but only for less than a second and stopped. I was just wondering if the injection should be all right as far as the estrogen not coming back out with the blood. The bleeding was very minimal but noticeable and stopped quickly.

As you describe it the canal where the needle was filled with blood. Maybe next time you might sit for a while and use a sterile towel to clean the site.

It seems the injection is ok.

I just hit a blood vessel , I've got a little bruise now, the estrogen probably went passed the vessel.

I did that once. Hit a vein and when I removed the needle blood squirted out all over the place. Scared the sh#t out of me. Thing is no medication came out. It's clear and oily. Hasn't happened since. Keep in mind that this is a deep injection and your destination is the muscle tissue. Occasionally we might puncture a vein or vessel on the way in.

A little blood is normal, at least in my experience. What I usually do is I keep the needle in a few seconds more and press hard on the plunger as the estradiol is very thick and doesn't come out of the syringe easily. But a little blood isn't a big deal. You will definitely know when you hit a blood vessel as you'll bleed more than usual and it will bruise and the skin will harden. This happened to me once and it wasn't fun.

I also inject as many transmen do. It isn't an unusual thing to happen and nothing to worry about in my experience.

Thanks, For some reason the first day I inject I usual get knock out and that's what happened today so I guess everything is WEYTPOHY.

For starters, I am a bleeder. So there is hardly a time after a shot when I don't have at least a drop. (BTW - I do the outer thigh). Sometimes the drop or two is a dribble that stops after the BandAid goes on. Later when it comes off in either case there is just a tiny spot or a bigger spot. In other words hardly nuttin.

And then.... On occasion I'll nick a vein. When the needle comes out blood may even spurt out a bit

Just as Murphy's Law dictates right onto my clothing. Again, a little pressure and a bandaid later nuttin. Just a bandaid with most of the cotton red.

I always asperate before injecting so I know I'm not in a vein. With all the spider veins I do have you'll think I'll easily miss them but somehow I can't

Another little tip!

As the Esttradiol is quite viscous, I always place the vial in a cup of tepid water for a cpl of mins. before I extract the "honey from the comb"

It loads into the syringe easier, as well as, the muscle.

That might of helped , but I wasn't expecting it because I've been doing it for over month and there's been no blood at all. I didn't expect it so I turned away to get rid of the needle and things then put my hand by the site and it was full of blood and I go oh

and freak out , but then saw it stopped bleeding right way. I was just worried that it pushed the estrogen back out.

My mom does my injections for me and taught me how (she was a nurse, now retired) And she was like its normal for blood to show. She always instructed me to put a band aid on because it's just a good precaution.

The estrogen dribbles out a bit with just about every shot. And that is with slowly injecting and no big hurry to pull out the syringe.

Blood lose does not bother me. I can make more of that. E, on the other hand, I paid good money for it and want every drop of it

I hit a vein last week, I think. It bled so much so fast, but cleared up after about a minute of pressure. Scared the crap out of me. Still feel like I got normal results though. What bugged me the most is that I felt like I was hitting the same spot I always do.
