"BOSTON — New England's top professional sports teams have thrown their support behind legislation that would guarantee protections for transgender individuals in public spaces in Massachusetts, advocates for that measure announced on Monday. The supporters hope the teams' muscle could help persuade legislators that the bill has broad appeal."
