My breasts have shrunk. Please help!

Hello

I am a 31-year-old trans woman. I have been on HRT for 11 months. I am taking ( edit) Estrace p.o. and cyprotereone acetate daily. During the first few months on HRT my breasts grew somewhat and they were very sore. However, over the past three months or so my breasts shrank back down to their pre-HRT size. I am no longer experiencing the soreness in my breasts that I was early in HRT. My weight has remained stable (5ʹ10ʺ and 135 lb). I don't smoke. I had a blood test in March. My levels were:

Estradiol - < 73 pmol/L
Testosterone - 2.55 nmol/L

Does anyone have any idea of what could be going on?

You need to remove dosages ASAP as these are not allowed on the forum. You need to contact doctor but most probably, your estradiol is too low. Cyproterone acetate can cause prolactinoma, depression/anxiety, lethargy and liver problems long-term. I hope your doctor is watching over these things. 🙂

Have you spoken with your doctor about the shrinkage. It could just be that you have lost some size around the back and rib cage area so that make a seem bra looser - I know I went down a band size in the first year.
