Going to see a gender therapist for the first time in my life! is there anything i should know? can i be expected to be put on hormones immediately or does that take time as well?

It is highly doubtful you will be put onto hormones straight away. Normally after a therapist deems that they think you should start hormones they send you to the next person which is an Endocrinologist for hormones.

Generally it takes a few appointments before a therapist will green light you for HRT. I believe it was 3 visits for me. Hugs
