So I had a problem with one surgeon (will not list their name just to be safe) and we got in a bit of an argument. Now I am worried that, that surgeon will tell all the other FFS surgeons not to operate on me :( I'm terrified. Maybe I'm being paranoid? I don't know. What do you guys think?

I would not worry one bit.

They are competitors and would like your business.

Also if I was a surgeon and received a call from another about a prospective patient, I would be dubious unless something really bad had happened such as a threat or worse.

Also I would consider it unprofessional if a surgeon called and slagged someone off, if it was just an argument.

I'm more worried that they think I'm crazy or mentally ill or something. That's why I fear they will send out my photo to all the ffs surgeons in the world saying: warning do not operate, crazy patient lol.

I suspect that would be illegal in many places. Did you give them permission do discuss your case with others?

On top of that, people are usually too busy to "help" others out like that. Why bother?
