It is a standard imprint for Spiro. I wouldn't worry about it, please read below:

I take the one labeled AN 515 and it's a generic made by Amneal. My T is in the undetectable range now. Brand name should not matter really. It's a pretty old drug.

The only difference between generic and brand names is inactive ingredients/fillers which might induce some intolerance issues in some. Both should have a similar effect on T. :)

Ok Well in all honesty I was self medicating for a month and then the beginning of this month I actually started seeing a doctor and got the prescriptions for legal hormones and I'm just panicking cause I felt the illegal ones were working better  cause now im taking completely different medications than I was taking I'm getting erections again and my seman is getting white again. All that went away on the illegal pills. The illegal pills I was getting was progynova (generic estradiol) and aldactone (name brand spironolactone). The ones I'm on now is estradiol (name brand) and spironolactone (generic spironolactone) when I was taking the legal estrogen and the illegal spironolactone I was feeling fine and then once I went to fill the legal spironolactone and started taking them that's wen things turned for the worst. The legal pills are the exact same dosage as the illegal pills.

Generics and name brand can be very different in some circumstances. When a drug patent is published there is information left out. Drug companies making generics often reverse engineer the original or don't bother with the stuff left out. As long as it works somewhat similar it can be marketed and sold. Things like the coating which may affect rate of absorption and metabolism differ.

So yes, name brand can be different.

Also different countries have different formulations and their drugs may be a bit "stronger" than the US ones. Natalie Sweetwine in her videos on YT mentioned that her endo said that the estradiol she purchased online to self med with actually contained a bit more than the stated dose. I notice they work somewhat better on me too so I've been thinking of getting it there instead. But I'm going to ask to go on injectibles anyway because I feel I am not getting my full potential from pills.
