Lets say you get an injury or a disease that cause Anterograde amnesia, you remember everything in you past prior to the condition (FOR THIS THREAD purpose; if you transistion already those memories are gone). Now you cannot form new memories or build upon your knowledge. You can leave a diary to let yourself know what happen to you (but in a minute you forgot reading it)... But one day you'll be shock to older face you didnt wake up to before.

Will you still work on transistioning even though you'll never remember being a woman. You'll live in a state of only having male memories of yourself.

You only live for the now and your perpetual male past.

Oh hex yes.  Do you have any idea how long it takes to transition?! You'd literally have the experience of waking up as a woman, having went to sleep wishing that your male body would just magically change, every day of the rest of your life.  I mean, there would be some awkward days during the transition, but your journal would only need to make the argument above, together with a checklist and a transition timline, and you'd get with the program on a daily basis.  And forget that awkward mid-transition day forever.

The only issue is that you'd likely be stuck with a typical male skill level in dressing a female body.  And forget about makeup.  Every day would be your first try.
