Title says it...super nervous that my surgery will end up getting cancelled. I can't afford a second trip to Spain for another 2 weeks.

I wouldn't think so if you get to an eye doctor now and get drops for treatment. Pink eye can be knocked out fast unlike Iritis which takes forever to taper off the medication. I have a history of both Conjunctivitis and Iritis and the sooner you get to the doctor, the sooner your eye will clear up. By the way, throw out you eye makeup and it may be contaminated. I have  stopped using mascara because that was the primary source of my eye problems.

What medication does the doc give you for pinkeye? Need to know in case they try dicking around.

I can't tell you the brand name because I suspect it will be different but it's normally a mixture of antibiotics for the infection and Prednisolone Acetate for the inflammation. They used other medications in the past that were less effective but the modern drops cost very little and will clear up the problem fast. Just make sure you use the drops for the full time to eliminate every trace of the infection.

It was viral pinkeye, not bacterial...all cleared up! ^_^

That's good and the worry is over. I hope surgery goes well for you.
