According to that my ideal waist is under 27".  I think demons will be having snowball fights in hell before I can get that small.

But it is a target to work towards. :-)

You probably know this but female waist line is measured up around belly button except low rise jeans I think. Guys waist line is measured lower.  It told me I should be 28.25in around the waist. That is impossible around the pelvis for me. I think 32in is close to the minimum for me. Up near the belly button I think 28.25in is possible. I will try hard to get there. I walked/jogged 20 miles today in 5hr45 min. I don't think looking emaciated is a good look or healthy. Would rather an extra inch or 2 and look more mildly athletic. Long way to go. The shoulder measurement made me the happiest. Thought I would be too wide but am an inch under so far.

Exactly the reason why I always was inconfortable in men jeans. I always wore jogging pants . My "male " waist Line is 33.5 while my female waist Line is 28. I actually never measured my waist at the standard male location because I dont have one . It felt natural to take it higher then the belly even before HRT . The only pants I could wear was jeans from Guess/ black bull  but my GF was complaining It made my lower body feminine

It's exciting to hear such results. I am finally beginning HRT in a couple of weeks and I am very excited. 42 years old and I feel like I'm just being born.

First post. Hi all!

Don't forget that a cis female has a wider pelvis and longer torso. So it's hard for most of us to match "ideal" measurements.

Yes, the cravings were/are the one thing I didn't expect. I'm addicted to milk, olives and pickles. My ex (now house-mate) says its like I'm pregnant. I'm always hungry.

You know, milk causes inflammation. Milk, by design, encourages rapid growth in animals through the naturally occurring presence of hormones, which suggests it could be deleterious to humans over the course of their life span.

D-galactose in milk is known to induce aging in animals, and is linked to increased oxidative stress and inflammation.

Even cows stop drinking milk after a certain age. Same with breast fed humans.

What is your opinion of a good trans diet? I take it that a lot of milk products is a no no. I tried Greek yogurt yesterday fat free low sugar. Wasn't the biggest fan of it but was okay mixing berries in. I am not in a place where  I cook much at the moment so I keep it simple. Iceberg salad with zesty Italian, pickles, cucumbers, mini carrots with light ranch. Not so much carrots lately because I can taste the plastic bag they come in. Apples, black berries, raspberries, oranges, pineapple, mini watermelon . I usually go with whats on sale for the week. Lean ham, store cooked chicken, smoked fish, mixed nuts. Fast food I order Chinese, chicken chop suey, beef and broccoli, rice. I get a 40g protein shake to skip a meal on long walks. Drink water and sugar free energy drinks. I bought a small block of Havarti cheese the other day. Must be a bad thing because it didn't last long and tasted as good as candy. This has been my entire diet for about a month now besides one shameful cheat day and supplements. Am avoiding any bread or pasta type foods. I am trying hard to lose weight and have a super lean tummy. Any advice is so appreciated.

P.S Arch you new avatar pic is very pretty. I think the best pic of yours so far. Wish you had a nicer sounding name than Archlord though lol

I think it's critical to include fat in one's diet. We have unfortunately been told lies about saturated fat being bad, you need just examine in details the studies and you will see for yourself. Fat is required for many functions in the body, cholesterol is also critical for cells. Fat is also satiating and contrary to popular belief, more fat, less carbs = weight loss not weight gain. The documentation on that is extensive and VERY convincing.

I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

I litterally drink about a gallon of milk a day, no joke. But I also have the genes to process it.

For a given height, on average, they will have a shorter torso and longer legs
