EDIT: Sorry if any of the links I posted weren't allowed or some ->-bleeped-<-, lol. Im usually a lurker and not up to date on whats allowed and not but one time I got blasted for link bs  >:( just tryna help!

Had a couple consultations on this one, Im usually a lurker but this is something I'm familiar with so will post! I have several friends who had had cosmetic hip implants.  You can go to Bart, Cardenas, Chugay, Stanton,  and Barry Eppley, every other surgeon i researched and talked to that did this didnt really sell me on the whole confidence factor and others results did NOT look very natural, Hip Implants are a pretty complex procedure cosmetically if that makes sense. You also have more options than just hip implants to make yourself look like you have better hips. Ill get into that down below. sorry if its so long. lol

Anywho: Lets start with Ryan Stanton: I chose to go with Dr Ryan Stanton in Beverly Hills because he not only is one of the most innovative surgeons when it comes to these kinds of implants but he also does things like Calf, Pecs, Buttocks, and more. He can also do this while doing the Buttock Implant procedure. Hip Implants with him are usually only around 5,500. At least thats all my friends paid for theirs, they did them the same time as their butt implants that were 10,500. So it isnt very expensive either. they both look GREAT after they heal. I can tell you right now if you want to get Hip Implants you DEFINITELY should talk to Ryan Stanton in Beverly Hills he has literally made so many perfect asses and he has such a low complication and infection rate. Remember that with these implants since theyre so close to um. well the ass, the risk of infection can be greater because the implants are inserted at the crack of the butt (sorry if TMI, lol). he is so skilled and I've had a phone consult with him and was set with him from the very first time I heard of him. 2 of the girls that worked at Hooters with me got them (Im the only T girl  there however, yet to get them but setting up my date here soon)

Now lets talk your booty implants Lol If I were going to do Butt Implants as well Id choose: Andrew Jimerson, Constantino Mendieta, or Ryan Stanton.

Again with  Ryan Stanton is not only one of the best with Hip Implants but hes an innovator when it comes to Butt implants as well. In fact as of this last fall he has finally been able to sell his brand new patented Oval implants. Before there were just the standard Round and teardrop. Now you get the best of both worlds with the new Patented Oval Implants. Often patients had to choose between the round (projection and illusion of wider hip area) or the teardrop, just like the breast implant was great for women who had a more oval like buttock shape. Both have pros and cons, but now with the new Oval Implants he has out now you get the pros of both and very little cons of either. Its hard to explain ill post a link to the video explaining below, So far only three or so patients have received them but they all look GREAT you can check it out on Real Self.

You may not know but with the Round implants, the surgeon can place them laterally so that they give the illusion of wider hips and make your hips stretch out more. With the Oval Implants they are not known to really do that by themselves. The round implants also give you a far greater projection (for example, the "shelf look") however, the oval  usually looks more natural and fits in the pocket better do to the fact that most women have oval shaped buttocks and men have rounder shapes. But with these you get the pros of both, the shape and form fitted where the implant fits and shapes your entire butt and they also give you the projection (bubble butt or shelf look) as well as the illusion of wider hips. (although you can still do Hip Implants too.)

Next Mendieta- Dr. Mendieta works out of Miami and is actually the most expensive Buttock implant surgeon that I have ever really seen, when i visited for a consult they quoted me around 17k. That was quite the shocker lol. However his results are also REALLY good. Hes far more superior with the fat transfer then the implants. he has tons of before and afters on his page i can link as well. If youre looking more for the apple bottom/heart shaped look to your butt, hes probably the one to go too. However, he does not do Hip Implants as far as I know. And again hes far better at Fat transfer, even if you think youre too skinny he can usually find places and shape your back side AND hips using your own fat so that it looks more natural to give you a better hourglass shape, Im astounded at his results. In fact, if I was a little heavier Id definitely just go to him and do fat transfer. I can not really find out if any of his featured patients on any of his galleries have implants in addition to the BBL (Brazilian butt lift/ fat transfer). So, Im pretty sure his main expertise is the BBL. He has two websites one strictly for his Buttock patients and another for other surgeries. Hes very legit and skilled with what he does.

then, there is Andrew Jimerson : Also amazing at Brazillian Butt Lifts/Fat transfer. But he is also REALLY great at Buttock Implants too. Not Hip Implants  though, and I'm almost certain that he doesn't do them. All of his before and afters and patients that Ive talked too that have had this done have a really nice "round and bubbly look" most also lacked in the hip area, I loved his results. With him you can pretty much guarantee youll get the outcome you want and he really listens to you as does Stanton. With Jimerson, his buttock implants start at 10k. Youll also really love his results. Unlike many surgeons he actually has put the implant OVER the muscle if the patient wishes, which there are dozens of reasons Id never want that, so i thought that was interesting.

Jimerson: http://www.advancedplasticsurgerysolutions.com/photo-gallery-atlanta/buttock-augmentation-with-implants

Probably the most interesting- Barry Eppley : He has been around for years and years and he works out of my home state of good ol Indiana! he does pretty much any surgery  other than SRS and his prices are fairly reasonable. He actually does Rib Removal for patients seeking a more hourglass figure and definied waist line. By removing the floater ribs 11, 12, and occasionally 10 you widen the space between the bottom of your ribcage and your pelvic/hip bone making your waist smaller and thus giving your hips a great illusion of being wider. the results are actually stunning. The 11 and 12th ribs that are removed are not that important as they only cover the organs from the back and not the front. The 10th one covers a few organs from the front AND back so some surgeons dont like to remove it. I know of two women that went to him to have this done, one personally and the other I only read about. While this doesnt widen your hips, it definitely makes them appear wider by shrinking the waist line and lengthening the distance between your hips/pelvic bone and your ribcage. For his buttock implants results, while  his results do not compare in comparison to the three Buttock or Hip surgeons I mentioned above, they are far from bad. He does Hip and Buttock implants. I've only seen the buttock implants but I know he  has done numerous Hip implants as well. Body implants with him start around 6-8k ish range.

Aaron Stone in Beverly Hills - If you do decide to look into the bottom rib removal surgery, you can also go to Aaron Stone. He actually has a before and after of how the hip to waist ratio looks on his website, only if you go to him you have to be a candidate for abdominoplasty before hell operate on you ( kind of like a tummy tuck). But his result he has up is very nice. If you opt for this option, the scar is pretty visible, but fades with time.

So in conclusion: Stanton won for me since he does both Hip and Butt implants, and has both AMAZING aesthetics, cost efficient, and pioneer of own kind of implant. Hopefully this helped you hun, sorry if I made typos, errors, and other mistakes and rambled, just wanted to present you with all options! I wish I knew all this from the start so mabe I'm helping a few other skinny girls. Lol

PS: All the other surgeons I named Eppley, Chugay, Cardenass and Bart. Their  (buttock implant) results did not match up aesthetically with what most would consider natural. and i saw frequent complication rates from all but Bart, cant really find any results on his hip or butt implants! While Dr. Chugay has worked on many T girls but I've read mixed reviews. And then there is Dr. Alexander Sinclair in Bev hills also does Butt implants (not hips) and the few I've seen on him are good. Id much rather go to him for FFS though! So for me Stanton, Jimerson, and Mendieta win Butt implants for me. and Stanton Hips for me as well! Goodluck

Thought Id post this for all the girls on here that helped me when I was first transitioning and needing to know these surgeons! (: So here you go future transitioners lol.

@hip Implants with him are usually only around 5,500. At least thats all my friends paid for theirs, they did them the same time as their butt implants that were 10,500.

Haha no problem hun! Thought I'd save you the 2 and a half years I spent trackin down all of this! And yes sorry, with Ryan Stanton (Who I HIGHLY recommend out of all of those) that sounds about right :). And he is the only surgeon with those patented Oval Implants to help widen your hips by just just placing the butt implants laterally, so you may decide you may not have even needed the Hip Implants and may opt to have them taken out! (: Lot of options for ya, Id do both Hip/Butt and am doing both with him. the total will be around that yes

So Hip=5,500
Butt=10,500 usually so that comes about around to 15-17

Hi Daisy,

Thank you! Wow! ATM I'm focused more on face than body work but have recently considered doing fat transfer to the breasts. Do you know anything about this? It doesn't seem pretty common which is surprising as I know a lot of other trans women with good breast growth but with issues more to do with shape.

I've got a decent large B to small C cup depending on where I am at in my cycle (q 10 day estradiol injections) but the overall shape remains a bit more tubular than I would like rather than full and mature. This could as much be from my Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) that I have which is a connective tissue disorder and can make women tend towards more tubular shaped breasts. So I was looking more into breast contouring than implants.

Thought I'd put it out there if you Daisy or anyone had any insights or experience with this.

Cheers!

Tubular/conical shape could be due to the lack of progesterone which helps breasts become rounder due to stimulating the lobuloalveolar structures inside the breast.

Volume 18a of Elsevier's New Comprehensive
Biochemistry, Titled 'Hormones and Their Actions, Part I', editors BA
Cooke, RJB King and HJ van der Molen.  Published 1988.  ISBN

"When estrogen is administered in the absence
of progesterone, the tubular system proliferates and the ducts dilate
resulting in the formation of cysts and fibroses.  These changes are
comparable to those observed in fibrocystic disease and are suppressed
by progestins, so that normal breast development requires that estrogen
and progesterone be administered together.[2-4]"

Am J Roentgenol 1993 Dec;161(6):1177-83

"reexamination of published reports and our cases suggests that treatment with estrogen alone promotes enlargement of cysts and fibroadenomas, whereas treatment with a combination of estrogen and progesterone is more likely to be associated with diffuse increase in density."

To prevent breast shrinkage during cycle, you could perhaps ask doctor for weekly injection as levels already drop significantly by day 7 (in my case, day 5).

Contraception. 1980 Apr;21(4):415-24.

"The average duration of elevated estrogen levels was shortest in the benzoate group (4-5 days) followed by the valerate (7-8 days) and cypionate (approximately 11 days)."
