"Nebraska's bishops have called on parents to ask the local school board to reverse its ruling on 'transgender participation'

Nebraska's three Catholic bishops have asked school officials and parents to "make every effort" to reverse action by the local school board on "transgender participation" that would allow boys to compete in girls' sports teams, among other things."

First he says, "all people are entitled to respect, dignity and the support needed for personal development and well-being."

Then he says, "It would be unjust to allow a harmful and deceptive gender ideology . . ."

Yeah, that's what I'm all about.  I'm an ideology, not a real person.  If they were really of God then they would address the issue which lies in medical science.  But they don't, so they are not.

They and their ideological blindness to the world as it is. along with the evangelical clowns' worship of influence and money convinced me that there is no God in Christianity, only ego.

Signed, ex-Catholic and ex-Christian.

The idea that unmarried and ostensibly celibate men (some of whom molested children and/or tolerated or protected child molesters in their midst) would presume to lecture the world about morality, gender, sex, and family life is revolting.

well, for me personally, I will never forsake Jesus , but I could care less for the establish church that has obviously lost its way after 2000 years. I was raised Catholic, went to Catholic grade school , a Catholic high school and   2 Catholic Universities and a Catholic college and stopped going to church a very long time ago, but I will never forsake my Lord.

... and parents urge Catholic bishops to not sexually fondle little children.

Sorry, someone had to make this joke.

Don't worry, married, non-celibate pastors in other churches do it to.  :p

I swear sometimes these articles make me feel like I'm watching a fake news program in some sort of budget sitcom.
They never actually lay out any good, logical reasons just religious ones. Making an argument strictly based on that isn't likely to get you anywhere (this coming from a religious person, an agnostic one but still).
