Trans HRC board member tells why she quit

Gay News

"I really believe that the board feels as though they have the best interest of the LGBT community in mind even though the end result doesn't appear that way," she told The Advocate, adding that work she has done with HRC has provided some of her "proudest" moments"

I know that Donna being on the board of HRC pleased a lot of trans people but I still believe the only reason HRC ever started making noise about being trans inclusive was money.  For much of their history, HRC would generally talk about GLB issues and then when it came time to raise money, it was GLBT but their mission statement still didn't include transgender.  Many local and regional GLBT groups withheld contributions to HRC and stated they would keep withholding until trans was added to the mission statement.  HRC finally caved in.  However, as I stated, I still don't believe it was about being inclusive but was dollar motivated and any noise HRC makes regarding being trans inclusive is a false flag.  This latest board meeting regarding ENDA is a perfect example of how they will drop T like a hot rock.  The leopard didn't change his spots after all.  He just adopted some camouflage that is starting to wear thin.
