Hi there!
So I've checked this site out many times over the past year, and thought it was time I made an account and joined the fun.
My name's Alex, I'm a 29 year old ftm from Western Australia and I've been on testosterone for almost ten months. Woohoo! I pretty much knew I was trans since I was a kid, but I didn't have a name for it and I kinda pushed it down as long as I could. But just over a year ago I realised my life had stagnated and wouldn't go anywhere unless I was honest with myself and starting living life the way I knew I was meant to. And holy hell am I glad I did! This last year has by far been the best of my life and I'm so very lucky to have a wonderfully supportive family.
So, yeah. I'm a geek at heart, a gamer and a book nerd, a writer and a joker and currently my main goal in life to grow an epic beard.
I can't say just how helpful and inspiring many of the people who've posted about their own experiences here were in my decision-making and confidence during the first few steps of my transition. So thank you! ^_^
