So, I'm just starting to really dive into all this, and the biggest issue I'm having is hair. I'm guessing this isn't an issue I'm alone in. I have searched and found very mixed responses about hair removal. It seems most people say shave and then get electrolysis asap. I can't afford electrolysis and shaving is quickly becoming a problem cosmetically and comfort. I shaved a few times for fitness modeling as a guy and had the same problem. Then and now, I am perfectly ok after shaving, but by the next day very thick stubble starts to pop up and causes irritation just from walking or crossing my legs.

Now, I have to choose from the remaining methods I know. Waxing, Nair, or a home laser kit. I've read the home laser kits are successful if you have very dark thick hair and fair skin, which I do. I can't wax myself or afford to have it done that regularly. I remember preparing for a photo shoot once, I tried waxing myself then even having someone help. I ended up having to shave at least a third of my leg due to sensitivity and in about 2 days I started to notice stubble. I haven't really used Nair. I tried Nair for men once and had no success. I've read that the regular Nair is way better, and that may be the way I go temporally. I want to invest in a home laser.

Does anyone know of a product that isn't crazy expensive and works well? Also, does anyone have any experience with Nair? I am concerned about using it on just slight growth when I feel irritated. Worried the creme will burn my skin if there isn't to much hair to remove.

Any suggestions? Please and Thank you

I just use an electric razor, but some have success with different things including home laser. Just don't use home laser on the face since it isn't recommend. I'm not sure why though. Hugs

I swear by it. I had mine for 5 years and it only stopped working because I dropped it on a hard floor by mistake! It's expensive but it's awesome!
