This was the first work-related email with my deadname that I had seen in at least five years. When I did my name change, the folks at work did a great job switching things over. Why this particular system still used my deadname after so long is an unwelcome surprise. My manager said he would get to work on it.
I'm lucky to work for a company, and a manager, who embrace the desire for everyone to live an authentic life. It seems odd to ask my manager to take care of it, but I know he understands how painful this is for me because of our previous conversations.
