A rude customer at the salon I go to being rude to me. Went in to get my hair done,said transphobic slurs to me and the owner kicked her out. Said she is not going to be allowed back and does not want to lose me as a good customer

The customer was rude.  The owner was responsive.  Sorry you had this unfortunate experience.
Every once in a while I get an unpleasant comment or look.  Not nice.

... many of us that are in and have been in our transition journeys have experienced similar experiences
but rest assured, as you continue on in your journey and refine yourself in your desired gender, those kinds
of things will start becoming less common.  It is not easy to transition for any of us.
Be strong, be determined, and stay positive.

... many of us that are in and have been in our transition journeys have experienced similar experiences
but rest assured, as you continue on in your journey and refine yourself in your desired gender, those kinds

Some people are weird. 

Try to shrug off hurtful comments if you get any.  They can sting for sure and make you unhappy.

Be determined to have a better day though, do not get too down.

Were they here at Sturgis? Every year at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally we have local police, sheriff's department, FBI, and Homeland Security doing sting operations. And every year we see about ten arrests being made for soliciting minors and child porn. They never learn.

Had a ->-bleeped-<- obsessed with me yesterday and he would not take no for answer. My husband was with me and taught him a lesson good. Picked him up and threw him in a dumpster until the cops came. Did decide to press charges and he was arrested for stalking. My husband is not a guy to mess with, he keeps himself in shape.

I changed my name in Feb 2018. This morning at work, I received an automated email about some system files I created last year -- the email had my deadname. Some people aren't bothered by deadnaming, but it's devastating to me. I've asked my manager to track it down and get it fixed (he received a copy of the email as well).

This was the first work-related email with my deadname that I had seen in at least five years. When I did my name change, the folks at work did a great job switching things over. Why this particular system still used my deadname after so long is an unwelcome surprise. My manager said he would get to work on it.

I'm lucky to work for a company, and a manager, who embrace the desire for everyone to live an authentic life. It seems odd to ask my manager to take care of it, but I know he understands how painful this is for me because of our previous conversations.

I'm still fighting with the VA on this. I changed my name two years ago. They changed everything in my records so it is correct. But in one part of my records is a list of insurance providers and they have several variations of my deadname and my proper name with Medicare account numbers. One of the deadname account numbers is not even mine. I have complained to everyone and nothing got done. So I filed a claim that my HIPAA rights have been violated because someone else's information is in my records. That got the Privacy Officer involved. A year and a half later and nothing changed.

A student being a smartass in my first hour class this morning and being disruptive sending her to the principal's office. She was being a brat wanting to be treated like a princess,kept my cool and wrote her up

I have just finished up having a brunch with some very accepting folks, but I am saddened that I know that there are many who are not accepting.  "A man in a skirt that wishes to be thought of as a woman but does not have the correct chromosomes.  Tearing down womanhood.  She can wear the skirt but she is not a woman no matter what he says;" that thinking deflates the spirit.

At least this morning was pleasant and I work with the most accepting, kind people in a safe, secure position.

At 67 all the  hard living has finally   caught up  with me. Cholesterol  levels  through the  roof sugar levels  at present diabetes type 2   levels and on inhalers for breathing  problems. 
Going on statins and  metformin tomorrow and having to  watch my eating and  drinking.
