So, I went in for my first laser appointment last week, and came out of it relatively unscathed. But I realized that my sideburns were fairly long (about even with the top of my earlobe) and the aesthetician didn't touch them.

This seems like an interesting decision -- women tend to have wispy sideburns that don't reach down as far. How much should I try to eliminate with laser and electrolysis, anyway?

Does your laser tech understand why you are having the treatment? If she doesn't know it is becasue you are planning to transition she might not being making an allowance for that. Even if she does know you should have a chat with her next time so that she understands and can give you the right treatment.
