Swelling in groin area after orchiectomy

Is swelling in the groin area normal after orchiectomy?   The scrotum isn't swollen at all so it seems strange that I would have swelling in the groin.  It's sore too.

There are a lot of blood vessels that were cut in there.  It will swell.

I used frozen peas to ice the area.  Helped some.  You also may want to check with your Dr.
