Had xrays taken for Deschamps-Braly. Will see him in June.

Yep huge sinus hole and thin bone wall as expected.
Also, holy overbite batman! But I knew that.....just weird how the front teeth look haha

Hey, kind of reminds me of my pre-surgery X-ray.  You are seeing D-B in June for a consult or surgery?

Either way, your forehead should be setback by quite a bit.

Hehe. I assume the front teeth having long roots like that is normal? Just looked odd lol.

Yep D-B in June for a consult. Surgery hoping for November ( I gotta save for it, both money and vacation time).

Thanks! That's what I'm hoping for.....flat browridge 4tw lol

Dunno about the teeth, perhaps the front teeth overlap in your X-Ray.

Vacation tip.  I thought I was going to have to use vacation time, but ended up getting approved for 200 hours of FMLA leave.  I was not going to even ask my employer, but after reading our corporate policies I saw I had to notify my employer if I stayed in a hospital one or more nights.  While talking to the benefits coordinator she said I should apply for FMLA leave.  I did and was approved.

Mine isn't flat, but greatly improved.  My eyes were so deepset, almost even with the posterior wall of the frontal sinus.  My eyes are still inset some, but the orbital rim work opened them up a lot.

Have you had consults with other surgeons ?   Did they require you to bring the same x-rays?   Can a surgeon even properly evaluate a person for forehead and or jaw surgery without having the x-rays to look at ?

Thanks but FMLA means no pay, right? I figure I'll do 1 week sick, 2 weeks vacay and the maybe work from home for 2 more weeks or something.

Yes I had consults with other surgeons but they were all over skype or phone and none of them required xrays unless I wanted to meet them in person. I'm seeing Dr D-B in person in June so I got the xrays out of the way.

It is up to the employer.  My employer pays for approved FMLA leave.  Only your employer can answer whether they do or not.
