Maybe someday

Maybe or maybe not. Sometimes the life of one just drifts on by like the cool breeze. Standing in an empty field, the wind blowing through the grass and standing there with arms spread wide, face pointing to the sky with eyes closed smiling taking in the sun. Maybe this dream is one that comes true among the swirl of endless nightmares that plague the mind, the sound that rings in the heart and lights the flickering flame. Maybe not though for everything is a mirage, ever changing. People come and go, friends stay than leave, or endless traveling and never stopping for more than a second. Between the reality, the silver lining that shows is of wishing, however wishes don't come true in the slightest. Why? Wishes are illusions created to give us hope, but like all things wishes change and are rarely granted. Maybe however one wish does come true if wished upon a lonely heart. Maybe someday, but one can only dream that someday will come soon
