My name is Stevie, and I am new here. I live in a suburb of Vancouver in British Columbia, and am having a really hard time finding somewhere I can go to have my makeup done (hopefully by an experienced person), and my body measurements taken so I can do some fittings for clothing and undergarments (I was also told I should stay away from stuff specifically made for cross dressers and get real women's stuff in plus sizes if needed...?). I am currently still closeted (I'd prefer to have everything taken care of before coming out), and was wondering if anyone on here is from my area. If you could point me in the right direction, I would be forever grateful. I'd prefer to go somewhere that is discreet, or at least that isn't super public, and doesn't have glass walls where everyone on the sidewalk can look in at you (I'm also a very shy person). The plan is to see someone who knows what they're doing (preferably a cis woman), and have them do the best look in regards to my skin tone, face shape, eye colour, etc. I am not looking to be overly girly, or have a tonne of makeup. I like the au natural (even though its not natural) cute look. I am not one to draw attention, look super fancy, or be overly glamorous looking. Just someone who blends in with everyone else. The plan would be to take pictures, maybe some notes on products, remembering how to apply it myself, and then remove the makeup before leaving. I was also wondering if there was a place to try on and get bra fittings, etc. There is only one place I could find near here on the internet called The Breast Form Store, but it is in the super industrialized zone of Richmond (another suburb) and is inaccessible by transit. They also want you to call a long time in advance to book an appointment. And everything there seems over-priced and more drag-like. If you could be so kind, any help would be much appreciated!
