Tessa, I think it's great that you're going!  Even though you're a delegate from that hippie state in the northwest, I'll feel like my interests are represented, for once. You even know what they are: peace, freedom, justice, all that good stuff...

I really dislike democrats and republicans. If it's any consolation I also attended a prior democratic national convention as a voting delegate for my home state of Massachusetts. It turned me off so badly, the overt influence of special interests, that it left a sour taste in my mouth and I have never voted democrat again. So I tried being a republican and they also suck. So now I'm an independent and sit back and watch 2 groups of dummies fighting over stupid inane things.

Being independent,grn party or any third party is what democrats want for they are the votes democrats need to win offices..so being 3rd party your still a democrat ask Burnie Sanders about this,he's a independent socialist running as a democrat.
