jessilynn

I dont think it's too uncommon. Like me as MtF, Jessilynn Gregory Baker does NOT have quite a ring to it.
I kinda liked Jessilynn Jane because it kinda sounded like it had a bit of a cute country twang to it.

If you want to change it... Just ask friends, and family (at least the ones who are supportive). Look up name meanings and all of that too. See what fits, and see what you are comfortable with :)

Same here. Also my middle name is a male name anyway...

Still deciding. I'm honestly having a harder time choosing a middle name than a first since I had a favorite name ever that I made my first name so that was easy.

Tamika Olivia

Both of my middle names were gendered, and having two was always confusing, so I've already "changed" in my mind and with my people, and will do so legally in the fullness of time.

Plus, now my initials spell "TOP" which is pretty awesome.

TG CLare

I changed my name completely. The only resemblance to my old name is that the initials of my first and last names are the same.

I chose Rachelle as my middle name. I named myself in honour of a lovely sales lady who helped me find some nice clothes that looked and fitted well and allowed me to do it in privacy.

She was very flattered when I told her what I had done!

Love,
Clare

I had three given names pre-transition, all of which could easily be changed from female to male. I am still looking for another middle name, but I'm quite set on Marius since it matches my old name very well.

Emileeeee

The feminized version of my middle name would have been my sister's middle name. She hasn't spoken to me since I came out, so I decided against it. I had my mother pick it instead and she gave me her's.

Denise

Assuming I go that far to have a legal name change, I'll be using the name my parents would have named me if they had been told I was a girl at birth.  Unfortunately as family lore goes they didn't agree on Catherine or Katherine so I'll have to choose.

Rachel

My dead middle name is male and making it the female version did not go with Rachel.

Kayley or Kayleigh is Irish and means slender. I love the name and have someone in my family named that.

I changed my middle name as my old one was gendered. I like my first name and is gender neutral. I also wanted to keep my middle initial. I chose a name that is Irish, my heritage, and I love it. It is also unique! All done now! New birth certificate is in my hands.

Dierdre Lenore

I never had a middle name!? Who does that? I was so excited to pick one out! My niece helped by telling me I should change my first name to Lenore in homage of Edgar Allan Poe. I was already sold on Dierdre, but I think Dierdre Lenore is beautiful! I'm Keepin it!

Jessie Ann

I not only changed my very male middle name I added a second one, I have two middle names.  My first one is Lee which is an old family middle name.  It is the middle name of my uncle who helped raise me and taught me many valuable skills that I still use today.  My female cousin's middle name is Lee as was one of my great grandparents.  My second middle name is Ann which was my mothers middle name and I wanted to honor her.  When I did my legal name change I officially became Jessie Lee Ann.  I love my name and the origins from which it came.

Same here. I was either going to be Lewis Charles or Charlotte Louise, and I like the girl names my parents chose for me. :)

Unfortunately my sister has this name now and it just wouldn't feel right to copy your sisters name, at least here.

Agh... I like Lee Ann. It was the name of the first girl I ever had a crush on. I think I was six at the time. It is pretty.
