Just wondering if anyone had experiance or thoughts regarding Skorts?  I am the consumate underdresser and have been for years.

I've been going for walks in the morning usually wearing womens athletic shorts, shirts and shoes. . Usually wear breast forms and often danskin womens hoodie. . .I've never even garnered a funny look or comment, but then, I don't have a lot of contact while walking. . (This is a middle class suburban neighborhood)

Recently, I noticed that many womens athletic skorts are so close to the shorts as to be almost indestinguishable. I've given some thought to getting a couple of pair and seing how it goes . .

I have ordered a couple of pair on amazon and wondering how this will go. . Has anyone else who is more of an underdresser/ push the limits without attempting to pass crowd tried skorts in public?

What I am anticipating is black with black top. . and black hoodie.  just enough to make it less obvious . Nothing to glaringly obvious or that would stand out greatly.

Comments?

I have never used them before transitioning, but have given thought after the fact. They give some freedom to those who need it. i think that would work fine though .Hugs

Ive had a pair for a couple of years. You would really need to look close to tell them apart from shorts. I think they are comfortable. Basically, go for it. Worse that happens is you get some funny looks

Never been a fan of skorts myself, but if they make you feel good then go for it!

I think it will depend on the design of the skort and how it actually looks on you.  I have a few pairs that I wear around the yard when I am working but dont tend to wear them anywhere else.  But thats more a matter of personal preference.

Hey, if it looks good on you, then go for it!

I have to confess, what I am wanting to do is wear a pair occasionally for morning walks in the neighbohood.  Been walking for a while, and always wearing slight androgenous workout cloths. . Womens danskin or Nike shorts,  silky pullover top, Danskin hoodie, occasionally tights if it is cool and always womens Nike or Asisics shoes. . usually breastforms and bra. . not too much projection. .

Noticed the black nylon shorts look a lot like skorts. . Should be interesting as i have not yet been able to wear skorts out.

Ordered a pair of basic tek gear skorts from khols and really enjoy wearing them around the house. They are very comfortable and fun to wear. . .In fact I have ordered a two more pair. . .

Generally, they look close enough like the shorts that I seriously doubt anyone will notice, especially with a same color hoodie. .

Realistically, I know no one will say anything, and I have been underdressing since the 80's . . .

Also I am trying to get a crossdressing support group going in the OKC area. . .

Wish me luck on both endevours!

Just wanted to add, now that some time has passed. .

I have worn skorts on early morning walks through the neighborhood, and encountered several other people. Of those I have encountered, Not even a funny look. . including a group of young adolescence boys, of several races. . No smirks, no smart ass remarks. .

Hadn't considered them before, but they might be my next purchase...only if I find some I'll wear out...

Ewww...., I hate skorts.
But I love short shorts and skirts! I wear either frequently in my walk and even around town. I live in a semi-rural area just a few miles from a funky, half-hippie sort of town and the only time I get "looks" is if I mix prints with plaids!
