In the last few weeks I've finally got to the point that I feel confident going out dressed as a woman for daily tasks, and have come out to my friends, who meet me as a woman for the first time and have all been very supportive.
I'm not out 100% of the time and my experience at being out is still very limited, physically I'd like to be farther along, 6 months of HRT and electrolysis, have to wear a wig, padded bra, and makeup over mustache area, all things I hope very much to get past.
Now that I'm out part time, I feel I need to expose myself to as many new situations as I can in a safe manner, but my normal life has been very insular for so long, that even wanting to get out and do things I have a hard time thinking what should I be doing. I'm starting taking a class, and going to church (something I haven't done in 30 years), and of course shopping for new cloths, all great ways to be more social now as a woman. What else should I be dong, what experiences should I be building to move forward with transitioning to full time?
