"Angela Licinius died Monday, February 1st in Ufa, Russia after being stabbed in the heart reportedly by the husband of an ex-lover.
According to reports the unnamed man has confessed and has been remanded to pre-trial custody.
Russian transphobia is rampant. Pride Parades have been banned, homosexuality criminalized, and LGBT people are routinely attacked while police stand by and watch."
