So I went to a therapist.

I went to the therapist yesterday and I feel so much lighter. Like a weight has been lifted off my shoulder. A weight I have carried for fifty years. What I learned? I am not alone. I am not a pervert. Last but not least I am not confused. I look forward to further exploration and my rebirth. And they say you were born at conception. I've been to therapy a number of times but never had the courage to address sexuality. I'm glad I finally opened up. I left with my self esteem in tact, hope and the address of a local resource. Thanks to all of you that lead the way.

Hugs Dawn

That's awesome Dawn!  Congrats, and no you aren't any of those horrible things we believe about ourselves over the years.  Self acceptance is an enormous relief, I hope you are able to achieve that.  From there its up to you where your journey takes you.
Happily married CD, out to my wife and select friends.
