Going to Fair Day tomorrow just to have a look around. Never been before does anyone know if any trans groups have stalls there?

I don't know about stalls, but I'd be surprised if the Gender Center didn't have something.

I'm very conflicted about the Mardi Gras these days. Years ago it mean nothing much to me and I went a few times for the parade. These days its the opposite, and I stay well away.

I went a couple of years ago and the only trans related stall was The Gender Centre.

Never been to the Mardi Gras. Been to a couple of side events but never the parade, like most parades for anything it just doesn't interest me.

any giant helium kangaroo balloons or maybe giant purple platypus balloons.

Ms Grace

This is the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras... more likely they would be giant helium penis balloons and purple platypus would have a whole different meaning.

Fair day was ok but was super humid and hot outside. Heaps of interesting stalls though the Gender centre and a Trans Activisist stall were the only ones I saw.

Lots of Trans boys and girls around though which was neat.

I went to a movie first and this is the first time I've been outside in jeans, feminine t shirt and top and hair down and although I felt nervous by the time I got to Fair day I felt overly conservative considering the amount of furries in bondage gear.

I'm not really one for crowds so probably wouldn't ever go to the parade unless I got dragged along friends.

I have been to the parade once. I'm glad I did go as it is quite an experience, but it is certainly very crowded and I doubt that I will bother going again.

Considering how hot and humid it was in Sydney today that couldn't have been very comfortable for them!

You got to do what you got to do. There's probably a site just like Susans for them.
