Well I have had one for a long time but not a gender therapist although he knows stuff involving transgender stuff. I actually spoke a bit about my gender problems inside yesterday which I had not basically previously. I told him how and while he knew this some before, I never went as deep as to my lack of relating nor understanding guys. That I even tried and once again failed at explaining how they think. I can't relate to them.

I spoke about how they frustrate me and that I really can't read them well. I told him that girls, I can understand them and relate to them with no problems. I can read them without a problem but guys and I have tried to relate and understand them but it's always failure to.

I gave him some times where I sat with the girls where I felt comfortable. I told him I can relate to my nephew and my dad and maybe a few other guys just fine but usually it's failure and uncomfortable for me.

I told him that this is partly why I got called derogatory names like in school just for me not wanting to sit with people I could not relate to.

This is as far as I went.

larisa it is wonderful your starting to open up about your gender issues with the therapist. Sounds like your getting close to the point of switching to a gender therapist unless they are able to help with your gender issues too. Good luck and congrats on opening up to the therapist. Hugs
