I recently came across this free visual novel-esque game on itchio titled Acceptance. The description reads "Made in a one month time limit for Jam for Leelah, Acceptance is a visual novel adaption of a Twine game made around three years ago by a Trans woman in the early stages of gender transition. Designed to reflect some of the day to day challenges of early transition, Acceptance sets out to put players who strongly identify with their birth gender in a position where they have to experience some of the more challenging aspects of how it feels to live life while Trans. Acceptance is a Ren'Py visual novel that should run on Windows, Mac, and Linux."

Even though I am personally Trans and not the intended audience, I still played through it a few times to see what it was like, and overall I feel it was pretty good - but because I haven't transitioned or begun to, I am not really the best person to make that call. I thought I should share the game here and make you all aware of it if you'd like to try it or have a cis friend try it. :)

I believe the rules say that I am not allowed to post links off-site, so I won't. It is on the itchio site though, and it's in the top free games. If a moderator would like to post a link, I would appreciate it! :)
