I am pre-hrt but one of the things that I look forward to is the drop in sex drive.

My sex drive has been the bane of my life, even now at my age it still gets in my way. I am so looking forward to having it gone and out of my life. I know HRT will not be cure all but once the curse of my sex drive is reduced or gone I'll be free to focus on other things!!!

I had a pretty high libido previously but now its completely gone for the most part. It made me make some bad decisions and almost got me into serious trouble a few times.

I don't miss it - good riddance.

I prefer other forms of intimacy now - conversation, hugs, enjoying being close to someone. I very much enjoy not being driven by the need to constantly seek relief.
