...to confirm my HRT appointment for Tuesday. Yes, yes, yes, yes I will be there. Happy dance. There is a line from Phil Collins' song In The Air Tonight, "Well, I've been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh Lord" that seems so appropriate.

Rock those hormones all the way home. What are you going to wear? I know that sounds trite but it was a big question on my mind three years ago. Of course it didn't matter to the providers but I felt great being myself for the first time in that office.

Tessa, until I lose some more weight and we can update my wardrobe, I still present as male. Granted I'll be wearing earrings but otherwise just jeans, pullover shirt and sneakers. Right now Dee and I plan for me to start social transition around the first of September.
