So as a homework assignment from my therapist this week I had to watch the movie Normal (2003). I found it on-line for free (Google search and found a few different sources, the first didn't work for me.) The movie is about an older couple with two kids (12 yo Girl at home and 20ish yo boy out on his own) and active in their church. There is one very powerful scene (Dad's birthday party) where tears were just running down my face. I could so relate to the situation.
There were some "uncomfortable" moments where I thought some missteps were taken with the transition but to each his/her own. There were some scenes I just wanted to reach through the TV and slap someone. All-in-all a pretty good film.
