Sigmoid colon surgery in june.

Hi ive visited this site numerous times and i love reading experiences. I myself will b getting the surgery in june at pai clinic with dr.burin. im getting the sigmoid cplon. Im 5'7 and 152lbs. My bmi is on point for this surgery im active person with sports and running.will i use pads for the rest of my life? Will there be leakage unknowingly? Is there musvle control? Does the smell if there is one leave after a couple month of healing? Anyone that went theu this surgery please leave feed back
